Yes, initial appointments and any follow-up care is covered under Alberta Health Care.
It is our practice to help for as long as you require our assistance.
We offer complimentary Level 3 at-home Apnea Test Studies. In lab overnight studies come at a cost depending on your required study, often supplementary insurance will cover these studies. Additionally, If you have a Health Spending Account it may cover a required sleep study as well.
Once the referral from your doctor has been triaged, depending on your urgency, we aim to have you in to see the most appropriate Physician for your concerns. Typically wait times are between 2 weeks - 3 months.
We understand circumstances change, however, due to the nature of our clinic we ask that you please call us and cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 48hours in advance. Please note we are not open on the weekends. If you have a Monday appointment, we require cancellation on the previous Thursday.
It is our policy that any no-show appointment pay $150 fee to return to our clinical rotation. Any significant reason otherwise will be determined by our clinic manager where the no-show fee may be waived.
